We will be allowing golf again starting tomorrow morning, Saturday, March 21st, 9 AM (with conditions as listed below). I appreciate everyone’s understanding of us being closed today to ensure we were compliant with the governor’s order while seeking local guidance from the county. We received word today from the county public health officer that allowing golfers will be okay as long as we implement some measures to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
COVID-19 Measures we need to take for now to remain open (subject to change):
-Golfers encouraged to walk the course if able/possible
-Only 1 Golfer per cart (Carts will be sanitized)…(a child may ride along with their parent/immediate family). Because this may increase the amount of carts being used, on busier days there is no guarantee that we will always have a cart available for everyone
-Do not pull/touch the flags on the greens, we also will likely leave cups elevated above green where you can easily hit the cup to complete hole and grab ball without touching any of the hard surfaces of cup/flag
-Ball washers and bunker rakes will be removed from the course
-Will not be able to offer any bar or hot food service for the course
-No groups or gatherings/hanging out around clubhouse or on course if not golfing or done golfing. We need to ensure we follow social distancing to the best of our abilities. Intent is to still be able to enjoy some golf, but we still need to be cognizant of the threat from the potential spread of COVID-19. Please follow the guidance/direction of our staff once out here.
-Once checked in, please disperse towards the tees and prepare to golf or hit the range. This will help us ensure we are keeping with social distancing as well.
Thank you all for your patience and I hope to see you out here at the course for what is looking to be a beautiful weekend.
Clubhouse: Closed due to COVID-19
